December 12, 2018

Meeting was called to order at 6:41 pm by Mark Adamo. Agenda and Treasurer’s Report passed out.
Approval of meeting minutes will be deferred until next meeting, no attachment.
Update on fundraiser — Sara; 25 kids signed up for portraits on Saturday, still need volunteers. Going better than thought, more and more interest.
Bake sales at concerts: 3 so far (band, choir, orchestra). Bottled water, contributed baked goods and snacks, See’s candies, FOSCKO logo mugs for $20.00 donation.
Couth Buzzard event: there are 6 or 7 groups/solos including a singer and pianist. Details are posted on Facebook. Mark will email info for the event, street parking, time frame 7:30 to 9 pm approx. beverages and food for sale, what to wear, etc. Mark is unable to be there but there will be a FOSCKO presence.
Cash will be difficult at this event but there is a phone swiper available. Megan has a cash box and phone swiper.
Reports from student liaison, Jakob: Things are in flux for video idea. 3 songs total from upcoming events?
Treasurer’s Report: November 1, 2018, beginning balance $85.00. After deposits and expenses paid, approximately $1800.00 balance.
Discussion on ways to get younger orchestra kids involved in FOSCKO. Mark could stop making announcements and let kids do the announcements during class time for FOSCKO events.
Mark is enjoying putting music for Vienna Dance together.
Next meeting January, 9th; 6:30 at Kellogg.
Mark moved to adjourn meeting, and enjoy holiday potluck. A good time was had by all.
